Tour Details

Annapurna adventure trek is one of the most beautiful treks that encompass easy walking through the villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups and dense forest with a variety of wildlife and vegetation situated beneath the lap of regal Himalayas.

This is the easiest of our adventures and may involve walking for up to 5 hours per day. You are likely to cover between six to fifteen kilometers per day, over hilly terrain, on well-defined trails. Altitudes may exceed 3000 meters. This trek involves multiday walking for up to two weeks. A good level of fitness is required.

Sept, 22nd, Arrive in Kathmandu

Be met by your Airborne Adventure Nepal, (AAN) guide and transfer to hotel. Relax and recover from jetlag and then have dinner in a local restaurant nearby the hotel in the Thamel area of Kathmandu. Stay overnight in hotel.

Sept 23rd, Explore Kathmandu and do sightseeing with professional tour guide.

Visit Pashupatinath, Patan Durbar Square, and the Patan Museum. Between 4-
6 pm pre departure meeting for the trip at the hotel. Get any last minute
personalized items or gear for the trip. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Sept 24th, Kathmandu to Pokhara and trip preparation.

Get up early and then transfer to the airport. Fly to Pokhara and spend the rest of
the day getting prepared for the trek. Stay overnight in Pokhara.

Sept 25th, Have breakfast and then drive one hour to Nayapul. Trek from Nayapul to Ulleri. (2070m)

After driving approximately 1 hour from Pokhara, we begin our trek at Nayapul.
After a 30 minutes short walk along the banks of the beautiful Modi Khola River,
we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has little shops & teahouses. From
there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the
Bhurungdi Khola River.

We then climb steadily up the side of the valley to Hile at
1495m. After enjoying the breathtaking views, we continue up to Tikhedhunga
and have lunch. In the afternoon, we continue our climb to Ulleri where we will
stay for the night in a guest house. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m.

Sept 26th, Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2775 m)

The trail continues to ascend more gently, through fine forests of oak &
rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then hike towards Nangethanti at
2460m. After an hour or so of walking, we will arrive at picturesque Ghorepani.
Enjoy a well earned rest and take in the breathtaking views of the Annapurna
Mountains. Stay overnight at a guest house in Ghorepani.

Sept 27th, Trek up Poonhill (3210 m) for the spectacular sunrise and then on to Tatopani (1190m).

This morning, we will get up early and go hiking up Poon Hill. From here you will
see superb views of the sunrise and panoramic views of the Himalayas.
Including, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail and Machpuchare. After
submitting Poonhill, we will trek mostly downhill to Tatopani.
You will have the opportunity to see some or all of these mountains today; Mt.
Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Varaha Shikhar
(7847m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III
(7555m), Machhapuchhare (6993m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna II
(7937m), Lamjung Himal (6932m), Manaslu and other numerous clad mountain
Have breakfast at Ghorepani and then the trek descends all the way to Tatopani
via Chitre, Shikha & Ghara villages. Tatopani takes its name from the hot springs
near the river below the village. You can enjoy the hot spring at Tatopani as the
word describes. It is popularly believed that taking a bath in the Hot Spring
helps you to get rid of skin diseases and rheumatic problems. Of course, it gives
you physical and mental refreshment as well.
Overnight in Guesthouse at Tatopani.

Sept 28th, Mountain Biking from Tatopani to Beni.

In Tatopani, we will meet our professional Mountain Biking guides. Pick up our
bikes and get fitted out for cycling. Bike from Tatopani to Beni 3 or 4 hours.
Ride on gently sloping terrain and a wide jeep track, back into the lush
surroundings of the Himalayan foothills to the village of Beni.
Overnight at the guesthouse at Beni. (899 m).

Sept 29th, Bike from Beni to the White Water Rafting and Kayaking starting point on the spectacular Kali Gandaki River.

We will ride mostly downhill on the road through villages and rolling hills.
Cycling along the beautiful Kali Gandaki River we will see the thundering
whitewater rapids. This will take 2 or 3 hours.
In the evening meet the Whitewater Rafting crew staff and get fitted out with
equipment for whitewater rafting. Camp on the riverbank.

Sept 30th, Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking on the Kali Gandaki (class 3-4).

The beautiful scenery on this remote river makes it a fantastic short multi day
river trip. It passes through narrow gorges, alongside tumbling waterfalls and
lush jungle. Whitewater rapids such as ‘Big Brother, Little Brother, Good
Morning and Landslide just to name a few, will give you feelings of exhilaration
and excitement. As we descend this stunning river, we will camp on the
riverbank each night.

Oct 1st, Whitewater Rafting and Kayaking on Kali Gandaki continues.

More amazing whitewater as we descend through one of the deepest gorges in the world.

Oct 2nd, Drive to Pokhara and enjoy group celebration dinner.

In the afternoon on day 11, we take out at lunchtime and have lunch after the pickup. Drive approximately 4 hrs to Pokhara.
Stay overnight in Pokhara and Group celebration dinner.

Oct 3rd, Sightseeing around Pokhara.

For those that are interested, you can try some more adventurous activities around the Pokhara region. For example; The World’s best and longest zip line or some Paragliding. These are an additional cost of around $120 USD per person for each activity. Airborne Adventure Nepal is happy to organize that for you if you would like to book when you arrive in Nepal. Stay overnight in Pokhara.

Oct 4th Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Drive back to Kathmandu which is around six hours, alternatively if people have
time restraints or simply people don’t want to go by road there is the option to
fly back to Kathmandu which takes around 45 minutes. This is an additional cost
of around $130 USD per person which AAN staff can organize for you upon
arrival in Nepal. If going by road, this is included in your trip cost and you will
arrive in Kathmandu around 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Enjoy some last minute

Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Oct 5th Fly home

Have breakfast and transfer to airport, fly home.
